DESCRIPTION:Who is it for? \nThis one day course will cover the basics of first aid principles for persons who are working within an infant and child environment. \n  \nThe course will cover the following: \n\nUnderstand the role and responsibilities of the paediatric first aider\nBe able to assess an emergency situation safely\nBe able to provide first aid for an infant and child who is unresponsive and breathing normally\nBe able to provide first aid for an infant and child who is unresponsive and not breathing normally\nBe able to provide first aid to an infant and child who:\n\nHas a foreign body airway obstruction\nExternal bleeding\nSuffering from shock\nWith anaphylaxis symptoms\n\n\n\nThe course will include both practical demonstrations/assignment and oral examination with the practical being assessed by simulation.  The course will be certificated. \n  \nHow long is it? \nOne day – 09:00 – 17:00 \n  \nWhat is the cost? \n£83.00 plus VAT \n  \n**Please Note – Training date will be confirmed upon min number of delegates who have booked**
