The focus of the 3 hour programme is to provide an opportunity to explore the operational practice requirements of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards by undertaking a detailed exploration of recent change of legislation ( including requirements under Coronavirus Legislation) case law and associated statutory and local guidance. This is  aimed  at all professionals and aims to exlore Deprivation of Liberty in a range of settings. \n  \nProgramme Aim: \nTo assist participants to demonstrate compliance in their practice approach\, of their statutory duties and responsibilities in regard to mental capacity\, deprivation of liberty safeguards( DoLS)  including revised legislation (Covid-19) and case law and local policy.
